This CIBO conference allows Fluid Bed and Boiler Owners, Operators, Suppliers and Engineers to come together to:

  • Review the benchmarks of FBC and Industrial/Institutional waste fuel, coal, oil and gas fired Boiler operations and performance
  • Learn what technologies might be required to improve operations, sustainability, efficiency, and overall energy plant performance
  • Discuss the latest technical experiences associated with current operations, fuel handling and conversions, maximizing energy efficiency, maintaining or improving energy and environmental performance & staffing the future energy operations
  • Network with boiler Owners, Operators, Equipment Suppliers and Engineers to assess energy systems performance and solve problems
  • Take home the latest information on what is happening relative to FBC, industrial and institutional powerhouse operations, maintenance and performance as we transit into a new energy era

Nationwide Boiler will have a table set up in the exhibit area to promote our new and used boilers available for sale, temporary mobile units, and other boiler related equipment and services. Be sure to stop by and pick up one of our emergency preparedness plans!

Next week Nationwide Boiler will be hosting our Annual Charity Golf Tournament in Pebble Beach, CA. This will be the 36th year Nationwide Boiler employees, vendors, customers and friends will come together for a memorable two days of golf while supporting a worthy cause. Our tournament beneficiary will once again be the ABMA’s Randy Rawson Scholarship Fund, created to aid young college-bound students interested in the boiler industry and related fields of study.

The tournament begins on May 4th with a practice round of golf at the Spyglass Hill golf course, followed by a tournament reception and clam bake at the Inn at Spanish Bay. Tournament play will commence bright and early on May 5th at the Pebble Beach Golf Links. That night, we will host a Scottish Golf themed awards banquet and ceremony at the Inn, with a Scotch tasting bar and a photo-op with a bagpiper!

Last year the tournament raised $60,000 to donate to the scholarship fund, and we hope for another successful event this year. Thank you to all of our sponsors, donors, and attendees. Without your support, this event wouldn’t be possible. See you next week at Pebble Beach!

Nationwide Boiler Inc., the previous pioneer of the world’s largest trailer-mounted mobile boiler, has now begun production on a new “World’s Largest Mobile Boiler.” The previous unit was a 120,000 lb/hr, 400 psi design saturated steam boiler, which was an active part of Nationwide Boiler’s rental fleet for the last ten years before being recently sold to a brewery in the Southeast. This newest boiler will surpass the previous capacity for the largest trailer-mounted mobile boiler ever built, representing another new industry first by Nationwide Boiler Inc.

The new 125,000 lb/hr low NOx O type boiler is being built by Babcock & Wilcox and will be mounted on a custom 6 axle low boy trailer. Designed at 750 psig, the boiler will provide a wide range of operating pressures for saturated steam applications from 250 psig to 675 psig. The boiler will be equipped with a low NOx natural gas / future oil burner, FD fan and TEFC motor with VFD, fully metered combustion controls, a NEMA 4X panel, EconoStak economizer, stub stack and all flues, ducts and valving. An optional CataStak SCR is available for down to 2.5 ppm NOx requirements. The boiler system is scheduled to be ready for service this fall and will be available for shipment worldwide.

For nearly fifty years Nationwide Boiler has provided superior solutions to meet the temporary and permanent boiler system needs of every industry. Today, Nationwide Boiler continues to provide innovative products and leads the nation with the most successful 5 ppm NOx retrofit/installations for packaged boilers with the exclusive CataStak™ SCR system.  Nationwide Boiler is committed to providing customers with 24-hour responsive, technical support and high quality solutions
