Today is day 1 of our annual charity golf tournament in Pebble Beach, CA! Golfers will be heading out to the Spyglass Hill Golf Course this morning for a practice round of golf before tournament play tomorrow at the Pebble Beach Golf Links. Proceeds will once again benefit the ABMA Scholarship Fund, created to promote the boiler industry as a viable and thriving career path for young men and women.

Looks like perfect weather for a day of golf in Pebble Beach. Good luck to all of our golfers!

Nationwide Boiler is proud to serve customers not just nationwide, but worldwide. We have had a number of rentals throughout our nearly fifty years of service with companies in various countries and our boilers have traveled to six of the seven continents of the world.

We recently booked a repeat rental to a loyal customer in Canada with the help of our partner in Washington, Cole Industrial. One 30,000 lb/hr trailer-mounted feedwater system shipped from our headquarters in Fremont, CA earlier this month, traveling the west coast and past the border to British Columbia. Cole Industrial’s 800 hp skid-mounted firetube boiler was also shipped to the customer to complete the rental. The equipment is scheduled to be onsite for 2 months or until their planned boiler maintenance is complete.

Nationwide Boiler stays current with the latest news and information relating to the development of energy efficiency technology.  Last week the Energy Department announced up to $10 million in funding to advance the production of advanced biofuels, substitutes for petroleum-based feedstocks, and bioproducts made from renewable, non-food-based biomass, such as agricultural residues and woody biomass. As mentioned on the energy.gov website, "This supports the Department’s efforts to make drop-in biofuels more accessible and affordable, as well as meet the cost target equivalent of $3.00 per gallon of gasoline by 2022."  In addition, "Advancing and commercializing cost-competitive biofuels will help the Department work toward its goal of reducing current petroleum consumption in the United States by approximately 30%, and, in turn, enhance U.S. national security and reduce carbon emissions."
