As early as 1985, Nationwide Boiler anticipated the trend of government agencies to require boiler
operators to reduce polluting emissions from their boilers. To that end, the company initiated a program
to convert its entire rental fleet to meet the emerging low-NOx standards. A comprehensive test program
was undertaken to assure customers that the most efficient and reliable burner technology was being
implemented to meet these stringent requirements.
More recently, a Nationwide Boiler's 650 HP high-capacity mobile-boiler rooms, and a 70,000-lb/hr
trailer-mounted boiler were tested by an independent testing agency. The maximum NOx
emissions did not exceed 5 ppm over the entire turndown range for either of these rental boilers.
Nationwide Boiler can modify stock boilers to meet customers' specific emission objectives.
