As early as 1985, Nationwide Boiler anticipated the trend of government agencies to require boiler operators to reduce
polluting emissions from their boilers. To that end, the company initiated a program to convert its entire rental fleet to meet
the emerging low-NOx standards. A comprehensive test program was undertaken to assure customers that the most efficient
and reliable burner technology was being implemented to meet these stringent requirements.
By 1995, Nationwide Boiler's entire fleet of rental boilers had been converted to meet the 30-ppm NOx limit required by the
laws of most air quality management jurisdictions. It was the only company in the boiler rental industry to accomplish this.
Today, several units are available from Nationwide Boiler with NOx emissions below 9ppm, as verified by independent
testing agencies.
