Nationwide Boiler is proud to announce that we have officially completed our first company acquisition of Pacific Combustion Engineering / Ponder Burner Company. Pacific Combustion Engineering has been Nationwide Boiler's primary control panel supplier for nearly twenty years, and the acquisition brings us nine knowledgeable and talented employees. The transaction was led by President & CEO, Larry Day, with assistance from Vice President & CFO, Michele Tomas, and Director of Operations, Sean McMenamin.

The acquisition of Pacific Combustion Engineering / Ponder Burner Company increases Nationwide Boiler's coverage for rentals, sales and service in the Pacific Northwest. Their line of high quality control panels, fuel trains, and other energy related equipment pairs nicely with our temporary and permanent boiler systems and support equipment, allowing us to continue to offer the highest rated equipment in the industry.

Pacific Combustion Engineering / Ponder Burner Company, with headquarters in Washougal, WA (near Portland, OR), has a UL508A and 698A certified panel shop. All panels are fabricated to the highest safety standards, including SIL I-IV, Class I Div 2, NFPA-85/86, IRI, FM and UL, and they have the ability to perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).

For the near term, they will continue to operate under their current name, as a division of Nationwide Boiler Inc.
