Contribution From Charity Golf Tournament To Support Local Special-Needs Families

Fremont, CA, June 8, 2011

Nationwide Boiler's thirty-one year tradition of supporting local charitable organizations continues through its recent Charity Golf Tournament. Nearly thirty-nine-thousand dollars was raised during this year's event in Pebble Beach, California, with charitable donations and contributions supporting the work of Via Services, an organization which serves children and adults with disabilities throughout California's Santa Clara County.

The two-day event attracted boiler-related representatives from around the world, including original equipment manufacturers, representatives and suppliers. Golfers participated in a practice round of golf at Bayonet Black Horse Golf Course located in Seaside, off the Monterey Coast. Tournament play followed the next day at Pebble Beach Golf Links.

Located in Santa Clara, California, Via Services is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities and special needs achieve greater self-sufficiency and lead richer lives. Volunteer and donation information can be found at www.viaservices.org.
