Nationwide Boiler Inc. is proud to announce the success of its 2026 Pebble Beach Charity Golf Tournament, held May 6–7 along California’s iconic Monterey Peninsula. This year’s event brought together customers, partners, and industry peers from across the United States—and abroad—for two unforgettable days of camaraderie, competition, and philanthropy.

The event kicked off with a scenic practice round at Spyglass Hill Golf Course, followed by tournament play at the world-renowned Pebble Beach Golf Links. A total of 56 golfers participated, with more than 100 guests attending the awards ceremony and evening banquet. Through the generous support of nearly 60 sponsors and donors, along with enthusiastic participation from attendees, Nationwide Boiler raised nearly $68,000 for charity. Proceeds will be shared between Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area and the American Boiler Manufacturers Association (ABMA) Scholarship Fund, supporting life-changing wishes for children and educational opportunities within the boiler industry.

The 2026 event saw broad engagement from across the boiler and energy industries, underscoring the tournament’s continued growth and reputation as a premier industry gathering. “We are incredibly grateful to our customers, partners, vendors and friends who continue to make this event such a meaningful success each year,” said Nationwide Boiler’s President and CEO, Larry Day. “Over the past 45 years, this tournament has grown into something truly special, raising more than $1 million in support of charitable organizations and educational initiatives. It’s inspiring to see our industry come together not just for competition, but to give back and make a real, lasting difference in the communities we serve.”

Funds were raised through a variety of sponsorships and activities throughout the event:

• Golf competitions and mulligan sales
• A raffle for one ounce of gold and a unique deck-of-cards raffle game
• A virtual auction enabling participation both on-site and remotely
• A live auction held during the awards banquet and ceremony
• Auction item contributions and direct charitable donations
• A variety of sponsorship opportunities

Special recognition goes to Jim Lieskovan of Nationwide Boiler Inc. and Matt Whittington of Hurst Boiler & Welding Co., the winners of our deck-of-cards raffle for $1,000 cash. The duo donated their winnings back in full, further enhancing the charitable impact of the event.

In addition to the fundraising fun, the tournament showcased impressive performances across multiple divisions. Highlights included:

• Jake Cushard, a three-time tournament champion and great-grandson of Nationwide Boiler founder Dick Bliss, who captured the Low Gross title
• Cory York of Boiler Supply, winner of the Men’s Handicap Division
• Natalie and Nicholas Hansen of BakerTilly, winners of both the Women’s and Men’s Callaway Divisions
• On-green contest winners Jason Howard of Powerflame for Closest to the Pin, and Nathan Shrock of KEI Steam Solutions for Longest Drive

The Nationwide Boiler Charity Golf Tournament continues to grow each year, bringing together members of the boiler and energy industries in support of meaningful causes while strengthening relationships across the industry. Plans are already underway for next year’s event, scheduled for May 12–13, 2027. Next year’s tournament will feature a Wednesday practice round at the newly renovated Links at Spanish Bay, with Thursday tournament play at the Pebble Beach Golf Links.
