Nationwide Boiler will be attending the International District Energy Association's 100th Annual conference and tradeshow, June 28-July 1, 2009 at Washington, DC. This year's event is focused on the theme "Local Energy, Global Solution" and the program includes federal energy and climate change legislation updates, discussions on cap and trade and environmental policies, as well as "How-to" symposiums.
Be sure to stop by our booth and pick-up a copy of our latest literature, Nationwide Boiler Firsts, showcasing over five decades of innovation in providing innovative products and services.
Nationwide Boiler recently attended and exhibited at the California League of Food Processor's (CLFP) Expo and Showcase of Processed Foods. This event showcased the latest equipment, machinery, products, food ingredients and services from a wide range of industry leaders and the largest food processors in California.
CLFP member companies in attendance included ConAgra, Del Monte, Frito-Lay, Ingomar Packing, Kraft Foods, Los Gatos Tomato Products and Seneca Foods Corporation. Nationwide Boiler and other CLFP supplier host members spent two days informing, educating, and networking with these companies to better understand their current and future needs. The mood from food processors about the future state of the economy was mixed. Despite some hesitation and anxiety, there were some companies whose operations have not been affected by the chaos, and are moving forward with growth initiatives. These attitudes matched those reported by a 2009 Manufacturing Trend Survey report, conducted by Putman media's Food Processing magazine.
In addition to Nationwide Boiler's vast rental fleet inventory and new and used boilers, the CataStakTM Selective Catalytic Reduction System, a proven environmental solution which helps food processors and others in the industry comply with strict NOx air emission requirements was also showcased. The CataStak, with over 60 installations, achieves 5 ppm NOx or less and can be applied to package boilers, turbines, steam generators, or heater applications.
Mark your calendar for next year's event planned for February 2-3, 2010 at the Sacramento Convention Center. We hope to see you there.
This year's focus, "Today's Solutions for Tomorrow's Climate Challenges", bridges the gap between manufacturers, suppliers, and energy professionals, highlighting real-world solutions and insights from some of the most efficient and innovative campus energy systems in the United States. As an on-going member of the IDEA, Nationwide Boiler will be exhibiting and displaying our energy efficient and low NOx product lines, including EconoStak economizers, CataStak SCR systems for watertube and firetube boilers, and E2Stak Solutions.
