CHP Conference, November 1-3, 2010 - Austin, Texas

The U.S. EPA Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Partnership along with the U.S. DOE Gulf Coast Clean Energy Application Center are co-hosting a Combined Heat and Power conference in Austin, TX during November 1 - November 3, 2010. Registration is free for the conference and attendees can expect to hear from industry professionals and policy experts on key areas including heat recovery technologies, CHP in industrial applications, CHP and district energy (campus and institutional), financing incentives, case-studies and free tours of CHP installations.

NOx, Boilers, & Energy Efficiency Webinar, November 5, 2010 (hosted by Enovity)


This 60-minute webinar will review the NOx regulations in California's Bay Area and San Joaquin Valley. Julian Elliot, a representative from the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, will discuss how current and upcoming regulations will impact boilers in the Bay Area. The webinar will continue with a discussion on the benefits related to combining boiler efficiency upgrades with NOx compliance projects. The webinar will conclude with an introduction to Enovity's Boiler Efficiency Program and a discussion of the available rebates and incentives available for facility/plant owners.

District Energy and CHP Seminar, November 18, 2010 - St. Paul, Minnesota


The Minnesota Department of Commerce Office of Energy Security along with the U.S. Department of Energy Midwest Clean Energy Application Center and the International District Energy Association are hosting a one day seminar on November 18, 2010. The seminar is targeted for facility managers of colleges and hospitals who want to increase energy efficiency and cut their carbon emissions. Topics will include technologies and concepts, project development, project financing, working with the utilities, and a discussion on available support resources tools.
