CLFP Food Processing Expo 2013

To kick off next year's tradeshow season, Nationwide Boiler will be at the Sacramento Convention Center on February 5th & 6th for the annual Food Processing Expo, hosted by the California League of Food Processors (CLFP). The show will include exhibits from over 200 valuable industry players, workshops, guest speakers, food product samples and games. This year there will also be a discussion on the impact of California's Cap-and-Trade program on food processors, an event you won't want to miss!

While at the show, be sure to visit Nationwide Boiler at booth # 536 to learn about our extensive line of rental and sale boilers, and how we can provide quality steam solutions for the everyday food processors needs. And don't forget to ask about our CataStak SCR System (available with ammonia-free option), designed to reduce emissions to less than 5 ppm NOx to comply with strict air regulations and meet energy efficiency goals for the new year.

If you are a food processor and would like to attend the show for free, contact Nationwide Boiler for a complimentary visitors pass to the exhibit hall! Email us at info@nationwideboiler.com.

CLFP Expo and Showcase of Processed Foods - Caution or Optimism Ahead?

Nationwide Boiler recently attended and exhibited at the California League of Food Processor's (CLFP) Expo and Showcase of Processed Foods. This event showcased the latest equipment, machinery, products, food ingredients and services from a wide range of industry leaders and the largest food processors in California.

CLFP member companies in attendance included ConAgra, Del Monte, Frito-Lay, Ingomar Packing, Kraft Foods, Los Gatos Tomato Products and Seneca Foods Corporation. Nationwide Boiler and other CLFP supplier host members spent two days informing, educating, and networking with these companies to better understand their current and future needs. The mood from food processors about the future state of the economy was mixed. Despite some hesitation and anxiety, there were some companies whose operations have not been affected by the chaos, and are moving forward with growth initiatives. These attitudes matched those reported by a 2009 Manufacturing Trend Survey report, conducted by Putman media's Food Processing magazine.

In addition to Nationwide Boiler's vast rental fleet inventory and new and used boilers, the CataStakTM Selective Catalytic Reduction System, a proven environmental solution which helps food processors and others in the industry comply with strict NOx air emission requirements was also showcased. The CataStak, with over 60 installations, achieves 5 ppm NOx or less and can be applied to package boilers, turbines, steam generators, or heater applications.

Mark your calendar for next year's event planned for February 2-3, 2010 at the Sacramento Convention Center. We hope to see you there.
