Nationwide Boiler Inc. is proud to announce the achievement of the National Board “R” Certificate of Authorization for their sales, storage, and maintenance facility located in Alvin, Texas. The R-Stamp Certification, officially known as the “R” Certificate of Authorization, allows Nationwide Boiler’s Texas shop to perform boiler and pressure-vessel repairs and alterations both in-shop and in-the-field, as specified by the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC). Nationwide Boiler also maintains the R-Stamp certification at their Shop Headquarters in Fremont, California.

Prior to joining Nationwide Boiler Inc., Mo worked at Combined Solar Technologies (CST) in Tracy, California, a wastewater treatment facility where he gained knowledge on wood fired boilers and water treatment systems. He also held the position of head boiler operator, and was part of their design team.

World's Largest Trailer-Mounted Boiler Sold to a Southeast Brewery

The world’s largest mobile, trailer-mounted boiler, previously an active member of Nationwide Boiler Inc.’s rental fleet, has been sold to a brewery in Western Tennessee. The 120,000 lb/hr, 400 psig design saturated steam, Nebraska watertube boiler was originally manufactured in 2005 and had been on a number of short- and long-term rentals. Due to the one hundred plus foot length of the boiler and trailer combination, special transportation permits, pilot escorts and a road survey were required for shipment to the end-user’s facility.

The model FM120-124 boiler is capable of producing 200,000 lb/hr of superheated steam and is designed at 750 psig / 750°F superheat. The plant currently processes approximately 128,000 bpd of crude oil and with this replacement boiler, plant capacity is expected to increase to 150,000 bpd.
