Nearly 50 golfers arrived at Pebble Beach early Wednesday to take part in a practice round at Poppy Hills Golf Course, followed by our traditional Clam Bake Buffet reception that night. Tournament play commenced on Thursday at the Pebble Beach Golf Links. Golfers raved about the scenic view and great experience offered by both courses.
Thursday night over 100 guests joined Nationwide for a Mardi Gras themed awards banquet and reception to celebrate 35 years donating to a charitable cause. The men's low gross winner, Justin Hoose, took home a beautiful crystal trophy while Angela McGowan took home the first place crystal for the women. A $1,000 card raffle was held, as well as a silent and live auction containing various items generously donated by Nationwide Boiler's customers, vendors, representatives and colleagues. Additional funds were collected through cart and hole sponsors, as well as mulligan sales the day of the tournament.
We hope that all who attended enjoyed their time at Pebble Beach, and want to thank all involved once again for your support.
Next year we will continue our tradition with tournament golf at the Pebble Beach Golf Links and lodging at the Inn at Spanish Bay. Save the date - May 4 - 5, 2016. We hope to see you there!
