The Western Regional Boiler Association Conference will take place March 15-17th at the Hilton Eugene & Conference Center in Eugene, Oregon. Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 2-3 pm EST, the US Department of Energy is holding a free Webcast for Industry: Key Energy-Saving Activities for Smaller Facilities. The webcast will focus on key energy-saving activities that small- to medium-sized manufacturers can implement in their facilities. The webcast, featuring Richard Feustal of Briggs & Stratton and an Industrial Assessment Center Representative, will highlight strategies such as implementing no-cost energy savings measures.
The ribbon cutting ceremony for Mission Linen’s newest facility in Newark, CA is happening today!
The 109,000-square-foot facility is designed to process 1,500,000 pounds of laundry each week and utilizes boiler room equipment provided by Nationwide Boiler Inc. With a silver Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification, the company required equipment that was highly efficient and environmentally friendly.
Nationwide Boiler’s complete, high efficiency boiler room package contains the following equipment:
1. Two (2) Superior 475 hp Steam Boilers, including:
- Integral, factory engineered stack economizer mounts
- Integral, factory engineered seismic anchoring syste
- 4-pass, high-efficiency firetube design
- 150 psi ASME design rating
2. Two (2) Power Flame Burners, including
Nationwide Boiler and Pacific Combustion Engineering have representatives at two tradeshows this week on opposite sides of the country.
In Baltimore, MD, we have Jim Barbeau and Jaime Cubillos representing Nationwide Boiler at the IDEA Annual Campus Energy Show. This event includes 72 presentations, 100 exhibitors, and 800+ attendees that come together to discuss the latest trends in the district heating realm. Their motto and goal this year is "Sharing Solutions, Sustaining Our Future".
